The Hallway of Life's Journey!
I had an amazing vision, that I have been sharing and wanted to continue that conversation with those who didn't have the opportunity to hear it!
I was in an first floor of Dallas Twin Towers looking for a conference room and waiting for access to the room. I looked down this long, long hallway with different doors and other hallways but my eyes fixed on the end of the hallway. At the bright light from the window door at the end of the hallway. I immediately wanted to get to the end of the hallway thinking that's where I need to be. The light from the door at the end of the hallway seems so refreshing. I wanted to get there.
As I peered down the hall I realized the doors that I had to pass in order to get to the end of the hallway.
The doors were anything that hinders or stops us from getting to our goal. Door of anger, oppression, abuse, selfishness, un-forgiveness, neglect, hurt, loneliness, shame, greed, death and lack. Those doors represent ALL the things that hinder us. Your doors may be different than mine but you still have to pass them to get to the final door of refreshing. The longer you give that door your attention, the longer it will delay you from getting to your goals. Some people camp out at doors because their comfortable and don't want to be uncomfortable. Some camp out at doors because of fear of the unknown. Like when rain storms comes, have you seen the cars that stop under bridges while others just slow their pace and continue on to their destination. We must continue on to our destination. We must continue in our purpose in life. We all have a purpose so we can't get held up by life happening. We sometimes have to make life happen for us in order to see it happen for ourselves and others.
My purpose is the sister that comes along side those in the hallway to say "Come on, do you see the end, it's close, let's go, I'll go with you."
Going through life with others makes the hard doors a little easier to pass.
Come on let's get to the end!
