The Hallway of Life's Journey!

I had an amazing vision, that I have been sharing and wanted to continue that conversation with those who didn't have the opportunity to hear it!

I was in an first floor of Dallas Twin Towers looking for a conference room and waiting for access to the room.  I looked down this long, long hallway with different doors and other hallways but my eyes fixed on the end of the hallway.  At the bright light from the window door at the end of the hallway.  I immediately wanted to get to the end of the hallway thinking that's where I need to be.  The light from the door at the end of the hallway seems so refreshing. I wanted to get there.
As I peered down the hall I realized the doors that I had to pass in order to get to the end of the hallway.
The doors were anything that hinders or stops us from getting to our goal.  Door of anger, oppression, abuse, selfishness, un-forgiveness, neglect, hurt, loneliness, shame, greed, death and lack.  Those doors represent ALL the things that hinder us.  Your doors may be different than mine but you still have to pass them to get to the final door of refreshing.  The longer you give that door your attention, the longer it will delay you from getting to your goals.  Some people camp out at doors because their comfortable and don't want to be uncomfortable. Some camp out at doors because of fear of the unknown.  Like when rain storms comes, have you seen the cars that stop under bridges while others just slow their pace and continue on to their destination.  We must continue on to our destination.  We must continue in our purpose in life.  We all have a purpose so we can't get held up by life happening.  We sometimes have to make life happen for us in order to see it happen for ourselves and others.
My purpose is the sister that comes along side those in the hallway to say "Come on, do you see the end, it's close, let's go, I'll go with you."
Going through life with others makes the hard doors a little easier to pass.

Come on let's get to the end!

"Looking For You!"

I remember at one stage in my life that I was so ashamed of my behavior, that outwardly, I was doing fine to everyone else.  Waking up, going to work, raising my child, volunteering, going to church and going to bed.  Everyday, it looks as if I had it all together BUT inwardly, I had shut down and stopped believing and hoping that it would get better.

Then, one day I had an encounter with a man.  This man looked through me and really saw me.  He saw my hurt, shame and disappointment.  I let all my emotional and religious guards down and let go all my vulnerabilities. He spoke to my inner self and picked me up from the mud slide of life. He cleaned me up, put a beautiful dress over me and held me up with one hand.  He started to twirled me around like a Princess.  At first I was rigid and stiff in my movements.  With each step, I loosened up and flowed and stepped in sync with his guidance.  He twirled and twirled and I became free.  Free of the hurt.  Free of the shame and free of the disappointment.  I was no longer bound by the inner prison I put myself in.  Free.  Free to receive his love, mercy and grace.Someone is looking for you.  He's looking out in the field with his hand over his eyes looking across the field for you.

God is looking for you!

Sometimes in life all we need to say and repeat is ten words........

"All I know is the God I serve is ABLE!"

Say it again and again until the loud voices in your head and circumstances quiet down.

All I know is the God I serve is ABLE!

All I know is the God I serve is ABLE!

All I know is the God I serve is ABLE!

All I know is the God I serve is ABLE!

Until you can hear what God is saying.  You can't hear with chaos, mess, strife, discord, anger and hurt all competing for your attention.

All I know is the God I serve is ABLE!

Don't pass over these words.  Take your time and say them!

Tell me what happened?

Comparison Wings

I read once that hope doesn't disappoint.  I believed it for a little until time went by and on and on.  Then I raised the question to the only one person who could answer.  Where is and why doesn't my life look like what I dreamed or what I thought it would it be by this time in my life?

My response was different.  What should your life look like?  Well, like the big full wings and colors never seen before and awestruck by all who look at me.  There was a long paused then, my response came like a whisper.  Your patience to get to what you saw caused your warped present but you can still see that what you hoped for.

Sometimes you get what you ask for and it's nothing like you wanted.  Ask, Seek and Knock for the RIGHT ONE!

Your hope will change when your perspective and focus is on the RIGHT ONE....not your friend, neighbor or co-worker....
